Nomad Two Worlds was once again part of Hugh Jackman's critically acclaimed theatrical show, this time for it's recent 10-week run on Broadway (NYC) as "Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway" at the Broadhurst Theatre. "Nomaders" Nathan Mundraby, Clifton Bieundurry. Olive Knight and Paul Boon appeared in a special "Australia" segment of the show, which featured Nathan and Paul on Didgeridoos, Clifton's vocals, spoken word "in language" by Olive and stunning visuals from the Nomad Two Worlds films (directed by Russell James and viewable here). At the opening of the Nomad Two Worlds Limited Editions Exhibition at CATM Chelsea Gallery, host Hugh Jackman stated "so many people have told me that they thought the Nomad segment was one of the best parts of the show...I am so proud to have them up there with me every night." We congratulate all on their tremendous success, and once again thank Mr. Jackman for his incredible collaboration and this opportunity to share Indigenous Australian culture with the world.
We will soon be announcing our 2012 schedule of events. Look for a series of NOMAD TWO WORLDS Australian artists' individual exhibitions, featuring their own works but including some Nomad collaborations, new plans to tour the PORTRAIT OF DIVERSITY outdoor exhibition to regions of Western Australia, and new international tour dates for the main NOMAD TWO WORLDS collection. Thanks again to all for your wonderful and continued support, full details of these new 2012 activities will be coming soon!
